Add To Calendar Instructions

Microsoft Outlook and Palm Desktop are two of the more popular personal information management (PIM) applications that supports the vCalendar protocol. Many other applications also support the vCalendar file format.

WHAT TO DO
At the EVENTS page, click on the symbol. This will link your browser to a .VCS (vCalendar) file. If your browser is correctly configured to recognize the file format and launch your vCalendar-compatible PIM application, the event will appear as an item to add to your calendar. Make any changes necessary, then save.

If you click on the symbol and you see text or nothing happens, your browser is not configured to launch your PIM. Save the text as a .VCS file then import the .VCS file into your PIM calendar. The event should appear as an item to add to your calendar. Make any changes necessary, then save.

Not all PIM calendar applications support vCalendar (.VCS) files. See your application information to determine if it supports .VCS, and if so, how to use the file.

Yahoo! Calendar Online, as the name implies, is an online calendar/personal information management resource. If you have a Yahoo! account/e-mail address, you already have a Yahoo! Calendar. If you don't, go to Yahoo! to set one up.

WHAT TO DO
At the EVENTS page, click on the symbol. This will link your browser to Yahoo! Calendar.

If you are logged in to Yahoo!, the event will be immediately added to your Yahoo! Calendar. You can click on the newly created entry to edit it to your liking or implement reminder settings.

If you are not logged in to Yahoo!, you will first be asked to log in, then the event will be added as stated above.

If you do not have a Yahoo! account, you will be prompted to create one.
