Andres Ramos wants to continue to create an industry buzz for the band, gain label interest, and become one of the best bands in Exploiting Eve's genre of music.
Andres has spent his lifetime becoming a skillful, multi-talented musician, playing drums, percussion, guitar, bass, and vocals. Growing up in Cerritos and Lakewood, CA, Andres was involved in the school band all through his youth. Later he attended Golden West College to study music theory and piano, and then gained extensive live experience playing the LA and OC music scene in bands like Elite, We the People, and XEXS.
Andres takes great pride in Exploiting Eve having won "Best Alternative Rock Band" at the Rock City News Music Awards for the second year in a row and "Best Alternative Rock Band" at the Adrenaline Radio 2001. "Weve spent months creating new music and creating a big buzz," Andres points out.
Andres would like to see 2002 bring Exploiting Eve a deal with a major record label, and the start of recording a new album. In the future, he would like Exploiting Eve to have 6 albums or more in their archive and a few world tours. Five years from now, Andres says he sees himself and the band "carving the path to a whole new music scene that ExEve has created."
Feeling fortunate to bring his dedication, reliability and creativity to Exploiting Eve, Andres especially likes writing new songs, both commercial and more eclectic, with the band. He enjoys promoting shows and their new album, meeting new people, and networking with people in the industry. Andres believes, "Its mostly about writing and learning from the talented musicians in my band, and being able to share knowledge and ideas with them."
